Terms Conditions and Disclaimers Policy: askacoach.com is a service of Incredible Awareness Pty Ltd (Australian ACN 123 224 608) and provides a life coaching service available through email, phone or face-to-face coaching services to persons aged 18 or over only.
In this document the words “client” and “user” are used interchangeably. Each word refers to anyone who accesses any service of askacoach.com.
We do not at any time, or in any way, provide advice to our clients and users of our service. Instead we provide questions, exercises and resource links which may help the client to raise their awareness of themselves, their environment, situation and/or issue. This raising of awareness may support the client in making their own decisions, which may include the choice to take action in some way.
The askacoach.com coach is not an employment agent, a business manager, a financial analyst or advisor, a medical doctor or a psychotherapist. Furthermore, no askacoach.com coach will ever promise to, be obligated to, or will in any way:
o procure or attempt to procure any employment, business or sales for the client;
o perform any business management functions such as accounting services, tax or investment consulting, or advice in relation to these activities;
o diagnose or prescribe for any medical condition; or
o act as a therapist, providing psychological counselling, psychoanalysis or behaviour therapy.
Incredible Awareness Pty Ltd does not guarantee results in any way, nor will we or any of our coaches ever guarantee results.
The client and user are fully responsible for all of their own choices and actions. The client indemnifies Incredible Awareness Pty Ltd, its Directors, agents, partners, subcontracting coaches and any other related party from all liability for loss or damage suffered by any person arising out of the client or user accessing the services of askacoach.com.
Without limiting the generality of the preceding paragraph, it is understood by the client and user that in accessing information:-
o via the askacoach.com website, and
o through any contact by any means with any of our coaches,
they waive and release Incredible Awareness Pty Ltd and the askacoach.com coach to the full extent permitted by law from any and all claims relating to the usage of the material made available through the service(s) provided. In no event shall Incredible Awareness Pty Ltd or the askacoach.com coach be liable for any incident or consequential damages resulting from use of the material.
askacoach.com makes this material available on the understanding that clients and users exercise their own skill and care with respect to its use. Before relying on the material in any important matter clients and users should carefully evaluate the accuracy, completeness and relevance of the information for their purposes and should obtain appropriate professional advice relevant to their particular circumstances.
The material at this site or provided by the askacoach.com coach through the course of the coaching relationship may include views or recommendations of third parties which do not necessarily reflect the views of the askacoach.com coach or indicate its commitment to a particular course of action.
Links to other web sites are inserted for convenience and do not constitute endorsement of material at those sites or any associated organisation, product or service. These external information sources are outside our control. It is the responsibility of the client and user to make their own decisions about the accuracy, currency, reliability and correctness of the information at those sites.
Incredible Awareness Pty Ltd is not responsible for the individual coach’s methodology of coaching. However, we do have a substantial Quality Policy (QPOL 001) and Quality Assurance Guidelines (QPOL 009) and a Code of Ethics (QPOL 008) which all of our coaches must adhere to. Furthermore, we maintain a Quality Management System which regularly reviews, monitors, reports on and improves our total processes, including Quality Assurance Service Delivery (QPROC 013). All of our coaches are required to participate in our Quality Assurance processes without exception.
All askacoach.com coaches maintain minimum qualifications within the life coaching industry. Such qualifications may include a Certificate IV in Life Coaching as recognised by the Australian government in the Australian Qualifications Framework, or through other specialised life coaching training and certification such as Neuro Linguistic Programming, private coaching organisation credentialing (eg. New Insights, Results and others), other international life coaching credentials and possibly other disciplines which are related and complimentary to life coaching.
All askacoach.com coaches are required to maintain a Personal and Professional Development Plan which is reviewed with them on a quarterly basis or more frequently by one of our Directors or Training and Development Manager.
All askacoach.com coaches are required to sign and commit to the Coaching Code of Ethics (QPOL 008) as well as sign and commit to either the Code of Ethics of the International Coach Federation (www.coachfederation.org) and/or the European Coaching Institute (www.europeancoachinginstitute.org).
The client when submitting their coaching query online with askacoach.com, whether the result be email or live coaching, is agreeing to these terms and conditions.
Incredible Awareness Pty Ltd and askacoach.com have the following expectations of our clients and users:
o If a live phone or in-person coaching session is scheduled, it is expected the client will dial in to or arrive at the session on time.
o Should the client need to cancel or defer a session for any reason, the client must provide 24 hours notice based on Australian Eastern Standard Time of the scheduled session, which is also based on Australian Eastern Standard Time.
o If the client has any concerns whatsoever about the quality of the coaching services they receive it is their responsibility to contact askacoach.com via email to discuss their concerns. The email address for this purpose is info@askacoach.com.
The client agrees with Incredible Awareness and askacoach.com that the client will be liable for the full cost of a session in circumstances where the client:
o is more than 10 minutes late for a live session,
o doesn’t dial in at all for a phone session
o doesn’t arrive at all for an in person session,
o cancels or defers the session with less than 24 hours notice
